Bless This Borough

We love our borough & want to be a blessing to all of our neighbors, whether they attend New Story Church or not.

Playing Ping Pong to Free Lives

Each February, we host a Ping Pong A Thon. Ping Pong A Thon is 12 hours of ping pong to raise funds and awareness of human trafficking, which is still rampant in our world.
Over the last 4 years, we have raised over $40,000 to free, train, and liberate people from slavery and we completely smashed our goal!

Thanks to everyone who has played, volunteered, or donated. We’ll be back again in February, 2023.

A Simple Gesture

We partner with PACS (Phoenixville Area Community Services) to help keep their shelves stocked with food, cleaning supplies and toiletries so they can distribute it to those in need. Sign up for a green bag HERE, fill it with groceries every other month and then leave it at your front door for our team of drivers to collect and deliver to PACS.

Register to fill a green bag here. To register to be a driver, contact Brad Peterson.

Community Action Team (CAT)

Join the CAT team to serve our neighbors & meet the needs of our local community. You might be called upon to mow a lawn, do a small handyman project, deliver a meal, drive someone to an appointment, do a load of laundry or other odd jobs. Perfect for people who have flexibility in their schedule and aren’t afraid to get their hands dirty.

Project Purpose

During the school year, Project Purpose offer students free tutoring on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays from 4:30-5:30 at Coventry Christian School. On Wednesdays we also give the students a meal to take home. Tutors work with their students on homework help, reading, an educational game, etc. They are able to build a relationship with their student and speak life into them and share about Jesus.

More details here. Contact Sara to get involved.

AFTER SCHOOL BIBLE CLUB

Volunteers needed for an After School Bible Club at Schuylkill Elementary School each Tuesday, 3:30-4:45pm, starting Oct. 25th and going to May 24th.

CBC has been hosting this bible club for the past 9 years and we’ve had a great relationship with the school and administration.

Volunteers are needed to teach and/or interact with the students (1st – 5th grades).
You do not have to commit to every Tuesday.

Please contact Michelle Davis, or call 610-804-9602 if interested.
