Good Sam Christmas Dinner
Continuing with our annual tradition, we are looking forward to being able to provide a Christmas Eve meal for the men at Good Samaritan this year. Visit the Sign Up Genius to contribute a dish for this meal.
Christmas Eve @ New Story
On this day, we celebrate the One who brings joy to those in mourning, freedom to those in bondage, wholeness to the broken, and victory to those who have given up. Join us as we light the candles, sing the carols, and hear the ancient message of hope.
We will offer 3 services to choose from at 2pm, 4pm and 6pm. We’d love for you to join us! Seating is limited, so please RSVP so we can make sure that we save a seat & some treats for you and yours! Invite your friends and family and enjoy Christmas in Phoenixville.
We will also be providing an online watching option at 4pm if you would like to join us from home. We will be live streaming it HERE.
Church at Home
Don't come to the church on Sunday, December 29th. (Nobody will be here.) But be the church at home.
As the year comes to a close, we’re taking a moment to press pause.
This is a chance to:
Give our hardworking staff and volunteers time to rest and recharge.
Slow down as a church family and be fully present with those you love.
Reflect on the past year and how God has been at work in your life.
On December 29th, we invite you to worship at home with your friends and family. That morning, you’ll receive:
A special sermon delivered straight to your inbox.
A copy of our Annual Examen, a guide to help you prayerfully review your year with God.
Let’s use this Sunday as a time to rest, reflect, and prepare our hearts for the year ahead.
Dine at the Well
Connect and converse over dinner with 6-8 other women. Held once per quarter at individual homes starting at 6pm. Sign up HERE to participate.
Practicing the Way
The Practicing the Way Course features 8 sessions of teaching, guided conversation, and spiritual exercises designed to lay a foundation for lifelong apprenticeship to Jesus. Over the 8 weeks, you’ll form a foundational understanding of intentional spiritual formation. We’ll explore how to follow Jesus in our busy, distracted, and increasingly secular culture.
Join us on Mondays from 6-8:30pm, starting January 27th. Dinner and childcare are included.
See all the details & register for the course HERE.
Alpha
Join us on Monday evenings at 6pm, starting January 27th. Dinner (+ childcare) will be provided.
Alpha is like a dinner party...followed by group conversation where we explore the big questions of life, spirituality, and faith from a Christian lens...all in a laid back and non-judgmental environment. Each session features a 25-minute film designed to inspire questions and is led by a host who facilitates the conversation around the session's big question. No question is off-limits. You're free to share and ask as much or as little as you like. If you’re curious, skeptical, or just have questions, bring them to Alpha and explore them with new friends!
More details & registration HERE. Any Questions? Contact Dave Bahbah.
The Bible Course
Join us on Monday nights from 6-8:30pm, starting January 27.
The Bible Course will help you see the BIG story of the bible and increase your confidence, equip you to read the Bible better and help you to see its relevance and ally its life-transforming message to daily life. Whether you're well versed in Scripture or just starting on the journey, this course offers an overview of the world’s best-selling book.

The Emotionally Healthy Relationships Course
Join us on Wednesday evenings at 6:30pm, starting January 29th.
In the Emotionally Healthy Relationships course (EHR), we'll build on the foundational reality that it is not possible to be spiritually mature while remaining emotionally immature...which also means relationally immature. You’ll learn how to slow down your life and develop depth in your relationship with Jesus and others.
More details & registration HERE. Any questions? Contact Dave Bahbah.

Angel Tree
This year for our Angel Tree, New Story is aiming to help 15 kids and their families by providing them with necessary household items, food, and toys for Christmas. Some of these children are students at Logan Hope School - a Christian School in Philadelphia that serves the under resourced area of Logan. Some of these children are local Phoenixville families who we have been connected to through the Phoenixville school district. All of these families are currently in need of extra help with these items and we would love to bless them by providing them!
You can pick out tag at the Christmas Tree in the back of the sanctuary on Sundays, or during the week, or from the Amazon Gift Registry or Gift Card Form. We are asking that all gifts be turned in by December 15th, to allow time for sorting and delivering to the families. Gifts should be unwrapped.
Please reach out to Betsey with any questions.
Christmas Worship Night + Cookie Swap
Come sing traditional Christmas carols as a family and enjoy some delicious Christmas cookies! All ages are welcome and encouraged to come and participate!
If you’d like to participate in the cookie swap, please bring about 2 dozen cookies.

They confront the reality that...You can't be spiritually mature while remaining emotionally immature. In EHS, you’ll learn how to slow down your life and develop depth in your relationship with Jesus (note: not master how to do this during the course, but be introduced to a new way of life with God that is deeply transformative over time).
